So my husband and I were having some fun in a photo shoot where I got to show off my new corset! :D I love it.

According to my husband, the best way for a husband to take pictures of his wife is to let the wife goof off and have fun, taking pictures while she does so. That way there's not too much bossing around on anyone's side. ... I think it worked. ;)

You are lovely. That is a good color on you, and I love the hat!

I need more corsets. I think I have several kicking around from my ren-fair days - I'm guessing they probably don't fit now. I do remember having a waist, pre-baby.

 Thank you so much. I appreciate it.

That one was pretty reasonably priced. I can send you the link to where Jared got it if you like. I know!!!! Pre-baby was a whole different body for me.

Apologies I looked on wodenphoto website and can see from photos there that husband knows about back/rim lights already.

Great outfit and photo. The corset is pretty and stylish and I love the ruching on the skirt.

Adding to the discussion on the skirt getting lost in the background, I have a suggestion from my 3D lighting 'experience'. Apologies if I'm wrong, but it looks as if most of the lighting is in front of the subject so what you need is a back and/or rim light. It just gives a little lift to differentiate between subject and background. Here's one example [link] but you can easily google others.
