First, I truly wanted this to be a story filled with Loop kicking butt and taking names, getting himself closer to getting his girl back.  However, that was -not- the story that he wanted to tell me and until he was done talking, done showing me this, I could not write anything else with him.  So the kicking butt will come later.   Second, I am so sorry it took so long.  I didn't realize it was nearly one year since my last update with him. o_O

Little bits pertaining to this part of the story:
This takes place several months after the incidents that happened in Loop and Jay. 
The name Cherie has when talking to Tristan, Ms. Laramie Blanches, is taken in part from French Folklore.  "Blanches" refers to the "Dame Blanches" or "White Ladies" who reside around narrow places (usually with very steep, painful falls) and entice men to dance with them.  Men who would dance could pass without problem, those who didn't were usually refused passage and in many cases either painfully attacked by the lady's aids (animals or other creatures) or sometimes thrown into briars.
The place they are at, the hospital and garden, is one of the places the most effected by the Cataclysm.  Pieces of the other world literally materialized there after its original materialization point.
